The Pleasanton Phantom 12& Under Girls Fastpitch Softball Team culminated a successful season by placing 7^th out of 57 teams in the 12&U “B” Western Nationals held in College Station, Texas from August 2-7. After an early loss in the double elimination tournament, the 7^th and 8^th graders played and won 5 games in one day to move into the final group of 8 teams. Their national tournament record was 7 wins and 3 losses.

The team of Lauren Ayres, Britannia Bloom, Morgan Dowdy, Alex Herman, Brittany Hillman, Alia Ismail, Morgan McKinnon, Jessica, Mickelson, Jennifer Ong, Christine Reever, Allie Straub, Erica Tabler and Mariah Worley completed their season by winning 4 tournaments, including the Oakland Metro Championship, placing second in two tournaments and achieving an overall record of  40 wins, 8 losses and 1 tie.
