The Pleasanton Phantom Girls Softball League is looking for boys and
girls in 7th through 12th grades to become Junior Umpires. This is a
great way to earn money, build confidence, be part of our exciting
games, make new friends and have fun at the same time!
A
mandatory training session (for both new and returning umpires) will
take place on Saturday, March 10 from 10:30- 2:30 at
the St Elizabeth Seton Church at 4001 Stoneridge Dr Pleasanton CA 94588.
There is a $40.00 charge for the training that will be reimbursed if you
umpire at least 2 games during the season. This fee is to pay for each
umpires ASA registration and insurance.

Announcements for the Upcoming Spring 2012 Season
Opening Day - March 17
With evaluations now behind us, we're in the process of team
formation, with Black Division teams expected to be named by
January 23, Mini , Minor & Major Teal Division teams by January
30, followed by TBall and Micros. Senior division teams
will be finalized later in February.
ACE Certification
Coaches will be required to complete the
ACE Training with Background Check. Coaches may request
refund payment when submitting proof of certification to their
division director. When registering for the first time, please
select "Oakland ASA" (division can be "N/A"). The ACE website
has been improved this year, and it is now possible to register,
pay, obtain the background clearance in less time than in
previous seasons.
