 2008 Snack Bar Workers

2008 Snack Bar Workers rules and regulations

Team Parents and Snack Bar Coordinators,  please read and disseminate to your teams!

It is each team’s responsibility to provide a person to work in the Snack Bar when scheduled.  Typically, this responsibility falls to a parent of each player as assigned by the team.  Parents may hire a worker from the approved list (above) to work their shift for them if they so desire.

Rules of engagement for hiring approved Snack workers:

  1. It is the individual parent’s responsibility to contact and hire these workers.

  2. Shifts are typically 1 hour 15 min or 1.5 hours (with a few exceptions

  3. Recommended minimum payment for one shift is $10.00 (up to parents discretion).

  4. Payment is to be taken care of PRIOR to the teen working the shift.

  5. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that their worker arrives on time.  We recommend that the parent meet the teen at the Snack Bar just prior to the shift and pay them at that time.  That way, the parent knows that their employee has arrived, and the teen knows that they will be paid for their work.

  6. Make sure that you tell the worker your team number and coach's name, so they can sign in for you when they check in for duty.

The Snack Bar is not responsible for paying workers.
